Used Bookstore Searcy Arkansas

A used bookstore in Searcy Arkansas is something we have always needed around here.

I have lived in Searcy most of my life and am proud to call Searcy home. I have married here and raised my children here. Searcy is a great place to live but has always needed a used bookstore that was fun and friendly and a place you could take your kids to browse books. We have tried to make our used bookstore meet just these needs.

We have a great kids section, and thought we haven’t been able to implement our plans yet, we have hopes of having reading places in our bookstore and cubby spots where kids can listen to books on tape or play games while their parents shop. We want you be comfortable to stay as long as you like, you understand… :-)

Our vision for our used bookstore in Searcy Arkansas includes being very community oriented where we host events or participate in events, where we help support local writers as well as provide the best used books around at affordable rates. Come see what we have to on our shelves today!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Posted in Announcements by admin

I’m at my mom’s telling her happy birthday. I love her so much! I attribute my love of books and reading to her! It’s because of her and her influence that I am the proud owner of this little used bookstore in Searcy Arkansas. I enjoy the summer and watermelon too. That’s always a big hit with her for her birthday! So, I am happily anticipating having watermelon juice run down my forearms as I help her celebrate in a moment with our traditional watermelon feast for her birthday. Many happy wishes and many more happy years!

Cheap Books Make Sense In Today’s Economy

Cheap books make sense in today’s economy. Used books are a great way save money when you buy books and to be easy on your pocketbook. I love books as much as the next guy. But when I buy a new book at some place like Barnes and Noble it makes me cringe because the prices are just so high. I don’t begrudge the publishing companies or any of their middle men, and I don’t mean to say that I won’t pay the money for a new book. I love new books as much as I love old books, but since money is tight it still is difficult to justify.

College textbooks are a great example. We learned about these savings back in school. We could save a nice chunk of change on our books and still trade them back in to save even more. Passing books on like this just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Discount books like these help save money for other things we also need. It just makes sense in today’s economy. When you buy cheap books you are helping other people too because you are passing the savings on to other people too who can in turn pass it on to others.

You can save up to half price or more at a used bookstore. You’ll be surprised at the thrift you are passing on to others. When you can’t find it used then you can browse on over to Amazon or somewhere else and pay full price. Otherwise, if you feel like looking for a bargain you can head on over to your local used bookstore in Searcy and look for cheap children’s books, romances, mysteries and more.
